Elizabeth Etters Asmus is a professional musician with Bachelor and Master degrees in harp performance from The Juilliard School. She also received her certification as a Therapeutic Musician under the auspices of the Music for Healing and Transition Program, the only program of its kind accredited by the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians.


Elizabeth is Adjunct Professor of Harp at Gettysburg and Elizabethtown Colleges, and has been a presenter at national level harp conventions. She will present three workshops at the Somerset Folk Harp Festival in July 2016.


Elizabeth performs as solo, chamber and ensemble musician with many organizations in the central Pennsylvania region.  Her work as solo accompanist with the Rooke Chapel Choir of Bucknell University has resulted in two recordings and five different PBS broadcasts, two of which were nominated for Emmy awards.


Elizabeth arranges for solo harp and harp and flute duo. Her two volumes of Christmas carols have been accepted for publication by Afghan Press.
